Dear Family and Friends,
On February 18-19, 2012, I have committed to staying on my feet for 26 hours straight, in an effort to represent the mental, physical, and emotional challenges faced by children living with HIV.
The Pediatric AIDS Coalition will be hosting its 11th annual Up 4 The Fight Dance Marathon, and I am proud to be a registered participant. DM helps to raise awareness and critical funds for the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, Project Kindle,OneHeartland, and the UCLA AIDS Institute.
Dancers spend the 26-hour marathon dancing, playing games and activities, making crafts, watching live bands and performers, and best of all, listening to HIV-positive children share their brave and heartwarming stories.
All the funds raised through this event come directly from you: a committed friend or family member of a registered dancer.
DM is the largest student run philanthropic event on the West Coast and I am proud to take part in such a large-scale charity event that benefits such a worthy cause.
I would greatly appreciate a donation of any size to assist me in reaching my fundraising goal. All donations are tax deductible and help us provide hope to so many children, women, and families around the world.
