When people judge others for doing what they want. This judgement is not a judgement passed because someone is performing an action that is disturbing the public social atmosphere but simply because the person judging does not approve the the action due to his own moral or personal mind-set. I mean really people, get over yourselves. The greatest example I’d like to say that exemplifies the previously stated situation is that of teenagers/youth and drugs. First of all, for all of you out there who judge the kids that smoke weed, or drink, or pop pills, don’t judge unless you’ve tried it. The teenage years are the years of experimentation, not close-minded conservatism. Since entering college, this is what I’ve learned, drugs really do not affect one’s outcome in life, especially school, to that great of an extent. If you’re smart, you’re smart, and therefore even if you do, do drugs, drugs don’t have an extreme impact on whether or not you do well in life because you’ll be intelligent enough to refrain when necessary, most of the time. I mean don’t take me wrong, I have the greatest respect for all the straight-edgers out there, and I mean the real ones, not the ones that just think they are but actually drink and smoke and do all of the above even if not to an extent as great as the modal population. It just bothers me so much when I hear people say “people are just doing drugs to fit in, just because everyone else is doing it, they just feel the need to hop on the bandwagon too”. REALITY CHECK. Some people just do drugs because they like it, there’s not deeper meaning of conformity or the need to be a leader or any of that unnecessary deeper crap. It is what it is, and the fact that you have the mind-set of whoever does drugs does so to fit in, only makes you look like an ass talking about how the action is close-minded when really you’re exuding the same close-mindedness you complain about.  Second irksome thing, when people who are under the influence have the need to tell the world about it. It’s cool if you’re gonna get drunk or high or whatever and it’s even cool if you tell the world you’re partying it up tonight and probably gonna get shit-faced wasted but don’t tell us about your every minute update like “Pre-game time!” followed by “OMG I’M SOOOO DRUNK” followed by “Shit dude, gotta sober up soooooon” followed by “fuuuccckkk still sooo wasted, fml” NO ONE GIVES A FUCK. or at least I don’t, and I mean the fact that you’re advertising the fact that you’re under the influence does not give the best of impressions on the world especially when you have the need to do so, so much. Just keep it chill and do you without having to let others know what you’re doing too.   and I mean, I’m just saying really. I’m pretty sure this stuff’s probably gonna be inevitable in life, so it’s whatever. And I’m pretty guilty of having done these things before but I mean you live, you learn.
